Entrepreneurship and startups are part of her DNA, and after decades of creating her own endeavors, she now travels the world to educate and inspire others to master the gauntlet that comes with being an entrepreneur. She has spoken at the United Nations, World StartUp Cup, and she toured India on behalf of the U.S. State Department in 2017 to get entrepreneurs fired up for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit. She has also done pitch training at 1776 in NYC and t-Hub — India’s biggest incubator — in Hyderabad.

Jennifer has a habit of being a little bit early on trends. In 1992, as a senior at the NYU Stern School of Business, she chaired a conference on social entrepreneurship. And in 2006 Jennifer co-created the world’s first food podcast channel, the Culinary Podcast Network™, which went on to have more than 3 million downloads around the globe.

Now she has released a manifesto meant to serve all kinds of humans, but especially entrepreneurs: No One is Coming. It is based on her model of Self-Directed Empowerment™.

With simplicity, directness, and humor, Jennifer demonstrates how any problem can be dealt with quickly and easily, providing entrepreneurs with a powerful toolkit with which to manage and grow their companies. She has now coached thousands of founders around the world, and implements this methodology in every case.

Your audiences will walk away with a source of empowerment that is like their own personal sun — renewable, sustainable, and always available. Copies of the manifesto can also be made available to your attendees.

No One Is Coming: The Principles of Self-Directed Empowerment™
What does it mean to be empowered? Where does it come from? This is Jennifer’s thesis statement and the subject of her published manifesto, which looks at the context of empowerment from a different angle, disrupting the current approach, and providing a breakthrough developmental model of Self-Directed Empowerment that can actually change the world. At the end of her talk, entrepreneurs are left with a toolkit they can use immediately to frame any problem or challenge. This talk has been shaking things up for founders at every stage, from concept to acquisition. Its subject matter is universal.

Jennifer’s theory is based on 3 core principles, which she addresses in very simple steps so they can be implemented immediately:

1. Context
2. Collaboration
3. Contribution

Entrepreneurs have a specific set of challenges
Given those challenges, it’s important for them to be equipped with a powerful way to move through the world and craft their companies. Self-Directed Empowerment provides a sustainable, renewable power source for them to do so, and uses the methodology Jennifer has used to coach thousands of entrepreneurs around the world, including the winner of the 2019 We Work Creator Awards Global Finalist, who won a $1 million pitch prize.
